punctuation signs




Punctuation  help better understanding of written words.

The question mark ?
The question is used:
The is place at the end of a sentence that asks a direct question.
e.g: where is  Sadie right now?

The colon :
This is used:
Appears before a series of words or  display an introduction:
e.g: Sadie house need the following  stuffs:  TV set, a microwave,  computer and  washing  machine.

The semi-colon ;
This is used:
To Connect  two independent clauses  when not used with a conjuction.
Each clause can stand alone as a sentence.
e.g: Sadie is going to have a new baby; I don't if it's a boy.

The Hyphen -
This is used:
Separate a word at the end of  a line  when syllables hopped on the other line.
Also used to join words to be one.
e.g: I love God I know I'll receive his bless-
ing one day.

The comma ,,
This is used:
Separate words and numbers from each other.
e.g: 1,3,5,7,9
         John, Tom, Sam and  Twann

The full stop .
This is used:
 e.g: To end a statement.
  I love soccer very much.

The Exclamation mark !
This is used:
At the end of a word or sentence which evokes an emotion.

The Apostrophe 's
This is used:
To express ownership.
e.g: That's my John's bag mom.

The Dash -
This is used:
To bring a quick change in a sentence.
e.g: She's Sadie - if you don't see she looks a little older.
